Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions below apply to all activities organized by Derech Karate School:
Article 1: General
These general terms and conditions apply to all agreements between Derech Karate School and the person using the facilities of Derech Karate School. Special agreements that deviate from these conditions or supplement them are only binding if they have been agreed in writing and apply only on a case-by-case basis.
Article 2: Registration
The participation agreement is entered into by completing the registration form. The agreement is strictly personal and cannot be transferred to third parties without the permission of the Karate School.
Article 3: Tuition and payment terms
Payment of the agreed tuition fee takes place every month or per three months and needs to be made in advance before the first calendar day of each period. Payment needs to be made by transfer to Mind-Set Framework, IBAN bank account number NL26 KNAB 0607 7925 50, stating the name of the student and the paid period. For exams and activities other than regular karate lessons, the Karate School may charge an additional contribution. Derech Karate School will inform the participants of the activity information and costs in advance, in writing.
Article 4: Termination of the agreement
The agreement may be terminated by either party in writing with one month's notice. In case of a long-term absence, payments can be temporarily stopped, with consultation with Derech Karate School.
Article 5: Risk and liability
Participation in the lessons and other activities organized by Derech Karate School is entirely at the practitioner's own risk. The Karate School is not liable for damage resulting from an accident, injury, or otherwise, of any kind, as a result of participation in the lessons or activities.
Derech Karate School is not liable for the loss of equipment or other items left in or near the training accommodation. Participants are obliged to follow the school’s code of conduct to ensure a safe training environment.
Article 6: Other provisions
The Karate School reserves the right to cancel lessons or change lesson times during memorial days, public holidays, or vacation periods without a refund of tuition fees.
